Stay active while on holiday in Thessaloniki with the Run Hike Alexandros Experience. Join this running/ hiking experience and enjoy doing your favourite sport along the seafront of down town Thessaloniki, guided by a highly qualified fitness expert. Along the way you’ll have the chance to mingle with locals and see some of the city's top landmarks!

What To Expect (Itinerary): Select your desired meeting date and time on booking. Within 24 hours you shall receive an email with further information & instructions for the completion of the booking. You will also arrange your pick-up with your running/hiking instructor. On the day of your Run Hike Experience, you will be picked up by your instructor upon agreed time and make your way to Thessaloniki City Center.
Your Alexandros Running/Hiking Experience starts at the White Tower, the most iconic landmark of the city. You will be running or hiking along the seafront through a sequence of 13 small parks, each built around a different theme, such as the Sound Garden, the Memory Garden, the Sculpture Garden, etc. You will pass by the statue of Alexander the Great among other points of interest and end up at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, by Nea Paralia before making your way back.
Your guide is a fitness expert and very knowledgeable with regards to the city, and will happily answer all your questions during your run or hike. The Alexandros Run Hike Experience is an easy and very enjoyable 8Km route. You will be running or hiking where locals fleet when they want to go for a stroll, relax in the parks, or watch the sunset. Ideal if you are looking to stay fit while on holiday, while incorporating some sightseeing amongst the locals.
Additional Info: On the day of your Run Hike Experience, we highly recommend you wear appropriate shoes, bring a change of dry clothes, and some water to rehydrate. Your running/hiking instructor is a former Greek special forces & Greek rugby champion, mountaineer, trail runner & long distance runner, certified lifeguard & certified first-aid provider.

- Cancellation 72 hours or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
- Cancellation between 24 hours and 72 hours prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement
- Cancellation 24 hours or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected
* If the activity is canceled by the cooperating company (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
