Enjoy a unique Sunrise flight with this Hot Air Balloon

As we rise to altitudes as high as 1000ft and drift with the breeze, you will witness quite possibly the best panoramic views of the Lagada Lakes and its surrounds.

We have views of Hortiatis Peak and the Lakes area of Lagada.

Our four distinct seasons offer beautiful scenery all year round, so make this your opportunity to get some of the most stunning photographs you will ever take.

We encourage our passengers to assist the crew to inflate the balloon and also to help pack it away after the flight. Celebrate your once-in-a-lifetime experience with a delightful champagne celebration in the field after your flight.

Sunrise Balloons is a family-owned and operated company which has been flying in the region since 2001.

Transport is provided to and from accommodation in Thessaloniki.

Launch site is only a 20 minute drive from downtown Thessaloniki! Passengers need to call Sunrise Balloons 45 minutes before pick up time to find out if flight is operating (weather permitting).

Flight for 1-4 people 1300 euros
Flight for 5-8 people 270 euros / person
Flight 9-12 people 220 euros / person

Extra info:

Our experienced pilots are EASA certified and flight tested annually.
As with any aircraft our balloons receive an annual check and Review of Airworthiness.
To make your flight as safe as possible we monitor weather conditions continually and if it is not suitable the flight is cancelled.
Minimum participants 4 pax - Maximum on Board 12 Pax Children must be at least 1,50 meters tall.

*Flights are at dawn when the air is cool and calm. Dawn varies from 5,30AM in midsummer to 8AM in winter, allow 3½-4 hours for the experience.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation 14 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
Cancellation between 7 and 14 hours prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
Cancellation 7 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.

* If the activity is canceled by the cooperating company (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
